Im Juni 2026 startet das neue internationale Projekt von Cactus Junges Theater – mit dem Wald als zentralem Thema. Drei Jugendgruppen aus Münster (Deutschland), Lublin (Polen) und Orléans (Frankreich) werden im Laufe eines Jahres bei vier gemeinsamen Begegnungen Performances entwickeln, die mitten im Wald aufgeführt werden.
Die drei Partner – Cactus Junges Theater, das Conservatoire d’Orléans und die Fundacja TanTEO – werden dabei von verschiedenen Umweltorganisationen und ökologischen Initiativen begleitet. Die Jugendlichen erwerben Wissen über den Wald: seine Bedeutung für das Ökosystem, die Bedrohungen, denen er ausgesetzt ist, und die Möglichkeiten, diese artenreichen Lebensräume aktiv zu schützen.
Der Wald wird dabei nicht nur zum Thema, sondern zum Spielort selbst: ein reiches, immersives Bühnenraum, in dem die Jugendlichen – begleitet vom internationalen Künstlerteam – eigene Performances entwickeln und aufführen.
Die erste Begegnung der drei Gruppen findet im Juni 2026 im Roztocze-Nationalpark in Polen statt.
In June 2026, Cactus Junges Theater launches a new international project centred on the forest. Three youth groups from Münster (Germany), Lublin (Poland) and Orléans (France) will meet four times over the course of a year to develop performances that will be staged and presented in the heart of the forest.
The three partners – Cactus Junges Theater, the Conservatoire d’Orléans and Fundacja TanTEO – will be supported by a range of environmental organisations and ecological initiatives. Young participants will deepen their understanding of the forest: its role in the ecosystem, the threats it faces, and the ways we can act to protect these biodiversity-rich spaces.
The forest serves here not only as a theme, but as the stage itself: a rich, immersive performance space where young people – guided by an international artistic team – will create and present their own work.
The three groups will come together for the first time in June 2026 at the Roztocze National Park in Poland.
